The Southeastern Biosafety Association will be hosting their 2015 annual Biosafety Symposium at Georgia Tech on May 14-15, 2015. The GT Biosafety Office is handling local arrangements for the symposium and the presentation line-up includes a talk by Dr. Mark Prausnitz (GT School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering) on his research on microneedle development for vaccine and therapeutic agent delivery. The symposium will also feature presentations on CDC’s Etiologic Agent Import Permit Program, Biosafety Management Systems and Dr. Ian Crozier (WHO) will present on his perspective of the Ebola epidemic as an Ebola survivor.
