September 8, 2015, iPrevent joined Campus Safety Day to share fire and life safety tips with the Georgia Tech Community. The Mock Dorm Room Fire Demonstration was well attended and, as usual, was quite an effective learning tool.

Temperatures reached over 1200°F within 2 minutes of ignition. Student discussions around the debris sparked interesting angles from material sciences to mechanical engineering to the social sciences around fire behavior and fire incidents. It is always great to have technical conversations with our student body.
