The Georgia Tech Department of Environmental Health & Safety recognized Elizabeth (Liz) Punch as our first Safety Ambassador for her outstanding contribution to campus occupational health and safety.

Elizabeth has worked for the Design & Construction office for 5 years as the Construction Administrative Manager. Elizabeth’s effectiveness in identifying hazards has aided in the implementation of effective contractor safety standards for the campus. Elizabeth’s motto is that “You must always plan for the perfect storm” because you never know when an event will occur, but you must always be prepared.
